Placing the Library in the Rack
The library slides into position on the rack shelf and is secured in position by screws
through the mounting brackets.
Before proceeding with the installation of the library, ensure that you have removed
all the library components by following the procedures in “Removing Components to
Reduce Library Weight” on page 6-2.

To place the library in the rack:
1. With a person on each side of the library, lift the library.
2. Slide the library partially onto the rail shelves in the rack.
3. Push the library into the rack until the mounting bracket contacts the front
vertical rail posts.
4. Insert and tighten the thumb screws on the mounting brackets ( in Figure 6-18)
into the front vertical rail posts.
5. Finally, push the clip-on bezels ( in Figure 6-18) into the retainers on the
mounting brackets to complete the rack installation.
