Electrician must run a single-twisted pair, 24AWG shielded COM cable
(can be purchased from ICS) through 3/4” conduit from the 485 terminal
to the Entrance Keypad.
There is a terminal block (NETWORK 485), located on the keypad circuit
board labeled with DT+, DT-,
and GND, for Data+, Data- and Ground,
respectfully. Terminations for the single-twisted pair Comm wires should
be torqued to 20 pound-inches (2.3 n-m.) Over torquing may cause
enclosure breakage.
