When using the Sescoa superfast format the following must be taken into account:
Sescoa superfast format is 3x3 + Check Sum (total of 7 digits)
Sescoa superfast account is a three digit code to the base 15, and is thus limited to a maximum
number of 3374.
When the Sescoa superfast format is enabled, 4 by 2 plus parity formats will be identified as a
Sescoa and will not display the correct account code.
If it is necessary to receive Sescoa superfast (SSF) and 4 by 2 + Check Sum formats disable the
SSF decoding and change the SSF account code, in the monitoring program, to the coded
format and make sure that the m.s.d. of all the event codes sent by the alarm panel set to SSF is
an “A”, e.g. the coded account code 1234 = 574 + the m.s.d. of the event code “A” which will
be seen by the IDS BSR400 as part of the account code and will be converted to a “0”, the result
is account code 5740.
The coding of SSF account code is as follows:
• The range of a digit to the base 15 is [0...E]
• The value “0” is replace by the digit “F”
• The SSF account code [0000...3374] when coded will be in the range [FFF...EEE], e.g. 0001
= FF1, and the range when used as describe above will be [FFF0...EEE0]
