Some control panels have difficulty in understanding the receiver’s handshake tones on noisy phone
lines. The option provides a possible solution for this problem by providing longer constant tones.
Default : 20 (1 second tone length)

The line card default wait period for signals from the control panels is 4 seconds before sending the next
handshake that is if no acknowledge signal is received. In certain applications, an alarm panel may not
wait long enough to receive their own handshake, especially if the handshake is programmed as the third
or fourth handshake. This may be corrected by changing the time the IDS Base Station Receiver waits for
the alarm panel to acknowledge the handshake.
Default : 100 (2 seconds)
