The relay output latches, when enabled, when a new event is received that matches the selected option.
The relay output uses the same tagged setup as the buzzer and has the following options, enter [0...8] to
select:
0 – Disables the buzzer (Default).
1 - Enables ALL events, switches off when all events are viewed.
2 - Enables ALL events, CANCEL or 5 or 6 key stops buzzer.
3 - Enables TAGGED and TROUBLE events, switches off when all events are viewed.
4 - Enables TAGGED and TROUBLE events, CANCEL or 5 or 6 key switches off the
relay.
5 - Enables TAGGED events, switches off when all events are viewed.
6 - Enables TAGGED events, CANCEL or 5 or 6 key switches off relay.

This option enables the user to limit the buzzer to specific events only. The protocols that have the
following format 4/1, 4/2 and 4/3 are linked to the event codes used in setting up the printer as seen in
Table 5: Printer Plain Library Format. To disable or enable the buzzer and relay on a particular event enter
a 0 or 1 respectively in the corresponding position, the default selection is shown below.

The Contact ID protocol has a fixed three digit decimal event code format, 100 to 63x, which is arranged
into 23 groups. The most significant two digits are the group identifier, 10x ..63x, and this is used in the
table to select the tagged events. These are arranged into two tables, 10x to 42x and 44x to 63x. To
disable or enable the buzzer/relay on a particular event group from Table 10: Contact ID Group Event
Codes enter a 0 or 1 to correspond with the code group in Table 8: Contact ID [10x...42x] Event Type
Buzzer Enable and Table 9: Contact ID [44x...63x] Event Type Buzzer Enable that corresponds to the
header field above the entry field, the default selection is shown below.
