UPC-E Options
Setting Description
Number system
transmission
Enables or disables transmission of the UPC-E
number system character. Default is enabled.
Check digit Enables or disables reading the check digit. Default
is enabled.
User defined
symbology ID
Sets the symbology ID for UPC-E. Range is 1 to 4
ASCII characters. \xFF is not supported.
Default is E0.
Code mark A one-character code mark that serves as an
identifier for UPC-E. Default is E.
EAN-8 Options
Setting Description
Check digit Enables or disables reading the check digit. Default
is enabled.
User defined
symbology ID
Sets the symbology ID for EAN-8. Range is 1 to 4
ASCII characters. \xFF is not supported.
Default is FF.
Code mark A one-character code mark that serves as an
identifier for EAN-8. Default is N.
EAN-13 Options
Setting Description
Check digit Enables or disables reading the check digit. Default
is enabled.
ISBN conversion Enables or disables conversion of EAN-13 data to
ISBN format. Default is disabled.
ISMN conversion Enables or disables conversion of EAN-13 data to
ISMN format. Default is disabled.
ISSN conversion Enables or disables conversion of EAN-13 data to
ISSN format. Default is disabled.
