HST-3000 Ethernet Testing User’s Guide
Status Displays one of the following:
– N/A. Indicates that a particular test
frame is not configured to be trans-
mitted.
– IDLE. Indicates that a particular test
frame is in the queue to be transmit-
ted.
– In Progress. Indicates that a partic-
ular test frame is currently being
transmitted, and has not yet
encountered an error.
– Timeout. Indicates that for a particu-
lar test frame a timeout was
reached while waiting for a transmit-
ted frame to return; however, all
frames were successfully looped
back before the end of the test
frame’s transmission.
– Payload Errors. Indicates that for a
particular test frame all transmitted
frames were successfully looped
back, but a received frame con-
tained a payload that was not the
same as its transmitted payload.
– Header Errors. Indicates that for a
particular test frame, all transmitted
frames were successfully looped
back, but a received frame con-
tained a header that was different
from its transmitted header.
– Count Mismatch. Indicates that the
number of received frames for a
particular test frame did not match
the number of frames transmitted.
