Error Stats results
The Error Stats category lists error statistics such as the
number of FCS errored frames, runts, and out of sequence
(Oos) frames. Results in this category accumulate after you
transmit traffic over the link. Table 37 describes the results
that appear in the Error Stats category.
Remote Fault If supported by the Ethernet link part-
ner, indicates a reason for auto-negoti-
ation failure. If auto-negotiation
succeeded, the result will read “NO”.

Acterna Payload
Errors
A count of received IP packets contain-
ing Acterna Payload checksum errors.
NOTE: This result only appears if you
receive an Acterna payload, and there
are payload errors in the received data
stream.
Code Violation Rate The ratio of code violations to bits
received since the last test restart.
Code Violation Sec-
onds
A count of the number of seconds dur-
ing which code violations occurred.
Code Violations A count of invalid 10-bit code words in
the bit stream.
Errored Frames A count of FCS errored frames, runts,
and jabbers.
