4.7 Cameras and Laser Pointers
Figure 4-14
The various Cameras aimed at the wheel are used for
the automatic acquisition of the Distance, Diameter and
Width, as well as to perform the three-dimensional scan
of the entire surface of the tyre and rim.

The machine uses the Laser Pointer to indicate the pre-
cise point for fitting the adhesive weights on the rim.
4.7.1 Gauge arm

The arm is used to:
- Measure the rim distance only in MANUAL mode.
1 Arm, can be removed and folded upwards
2 Feeler rod used to measure the rim (Distance -
Diameter) for all types of profiles.
