6.5 Gauge calibration
Nota:
The Gauge should be used to measure the wheel-
machine distance only in MANUAL Mode.
The internal Gauge is used only to measure the distance
between machine and wheel (Ofset).

Application:
position the Gauge Head on the rim, in the exact point
shown in the "Gauge Position" chapter.
Read the distance value on the graduated scale of the
rod, at the Telescoping point.
Recall the Rim Data Input function in the Menu and
proceed as shown in the 7.3.3.2 "Rim/machine
distance input" chapter.
The Gauge calibration is used to determine the
exact distance. Entering the distance manually
excludes the use of the EasyAlu function.
