Therouter has been tested and found to complywith thelimits for a ClassA digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause
harmful interference to radiocommunications. Operation of this equipment in a residential
area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to
correct the interference at his own expense.
Nonregulatory Environmental Standards
ACX5000 routers are designed to be Network Equipment Building System (NEBS)
compliant.

The equipment is suitable for installation in locations where the National Electrical
Code (NEC) applies.

The battery return connection is to be treated as an Isolated DC return (DC-I), as
defined in GR-1089-CORE.

GR-63-CORE: NEBS, Physical Protection
•
The equipment is suitable for installation as part of the Common Bonding Network
(CBN).
•
The equipment is suitable for installation in a central office (CO).
