Interface Specifications for QSFP+ DAC Breakout Cables for an ACX5000 Router
Quad small form-factor pluggable plus (QSFP+) transceiver to four SFP+ direct-attach
copper (DAC) breakout cables are suitable for in-rack connections between servers and
the ACX5000 routers.
Table 39 on page 83 describes the Junos OS software releases that support third-party
DAC breakout cables. Earlier releases do not support third-party breakout cables.
You can use breakout cables purchased from a third party. These cables should meet
the specifications described in Table 40 on page 83.
CAUTION: If you are having a problem running a Juniper Networks device
that is using a third-party optic or cable, the Juniper Networks Technical
Assistance Center (JTAC) can help you diagnose the source of the problem.
