3.9.6 Phase Deviation
The phase deviation setting represents the peak variation in phase of the
modulated waveform from the carrier waveform. The phase deviation can be
set from 0 to 360 degrees. The default is 180 degrees.
Since a 360 degree phase deviation is equivalent to 0 degrees, the maximum
effective deviation setting is 180 degrees.
After enabling PM, press the Phase Deviation softkey. Then use the knob or
numeric keypad to enter the desired deviation.
