3.3.3 Reference Clock
Introduction
The Reference Clock defines the time base from which all other timing
parameters are derived. There are two modes available:
Manual mode In this mode, you can select the Reference Clock
yourself.
Automatic Mode In this mode, the instrument will select the
External Clock Reference whenever it detects one.
The source for the Reference Clock can be
Internal Selects the Internal 10 MHz clock.
Ext 10 MHz Ref In Selects the 10 MHz Ref In at the Rear Panel.
Characteristics
The 10 MHz Ref Out connector at the rear Panel provides the
reference clock signal that is currently selected.
The PLL state indicates whether the internal PLL is locked or
unlocked. This is also reflected in the Questionable Data Register.
