4.3 Screw Lock
All screws replaced during initial installation or inspection and modification measures must be original
spare screws with screw lock.
Spare screws supplied by Gebrüder Martin use a PA coating (blue plastic coating) as screw lock.
Risk of loosening of unsecured screw connections!
If a screw without a screw lock is inserted, the screw con
nection can loosen during operation of the light
Screws affected by this are highlighted with the following symbol in this document.
Observe the “Use screw lock” symbol.
If removed screws are reinserted, a liquid screw lock must be used.
Using the screw lock
Apply screw lock (medium strength) to screw in case of each reuse (e.g. DELO-ML® 5249).
As an alternative, insert a spare screw with PA coating.
