9.14 Replacing the Cardanic suspension
If the cardanic suspension needs to be exchanged (e.g. because the room is too low for use of the Comfort
version), proceed as follows:
Danger of spring arm snapping upwards!
If unsecured, the spring arm will
snap upwards when removing the light head!
Therefore, be sure to tie down the spring arm first before removing parts of the light head!

Locking segment with screw
• Open light housing, see section 9.8 “Opening the
Light Housing”, page 79.

Cable with connecting plugs
• Note down the connecting positions of the cables
running through the cardan joint into the light
housing.
• Remove cable fixations (cable ties) and, where
necessary, the fixing clamps.

• Remove fixing screw (1).
• Remove locking segment (2).
