9.8 Opening the Light Housing
Danger of spring arm snapping upwards!
If unsecured, the spring arm will snap upwards when remo
ving the light head!
Therefore, be sure to set the height stop of the spring arm to horizontalposition first before
removing the light head or parts of it!
Danger of mat
erial damage in the event of parts falling down!
Never open the light as long as it is attached to the suspension system! To detach the light first

Danger of injury due to
short circuit in marLED® E battery lights!
When performing moun
ting work on the open light housing, be aware of the danger of battery short
circuit when touching the connecting contacts accidentally with electrically conductive tools.
Such contact can cause sparking, heat up the tools and destroy the batteries.
Prior to opening the light head, always isolate the battery packs from the light, see section 9.5

Remove all light engines, see section 9.7
Removing the Light Engine, page 78.
The screws (1) of the light housing are now accessible.
Remove the screws (1) of the light housing.
