Tools/aids: Mounting-dismounting tool (REF 08-653-04-04)
Push the lever (2) of the mounting-dismounting
tool (3) upwards.
Put the mounting-dismounting tool (3) in place
on the cover glass (4) of the light engine, making
sure that handle (1) points away from the center
of the light housing.
Lower the lever (2) to cause the mounting-
dismounting tool (3) to adhere by suction to the
cover glass of the Light Engine.
Carefully lift handle (1) towards the center of the
light housing (A) until a gap (5) is created
between the light engine and the light housing.
Thereafter, pull handle (1) in the “B” direction
until the light engine disengages from the light
housing.
Take the light engine attached to the mounting-
dismounting tool (3) out of the light housing, but
do not stretch its cable in the process.
Push lever (2) upwards and remove the
mounting-dismounting tool (3) from the light
engine.
Avoid cable damage!
Never pull at the cables!
Be sure to unplug the cables correctly, grasping the housing of the plug!
Use the universalplug puller (REF 08-670-50-04) to remove the plug.
Turn light engine (6) upside down and remove the
plug housing using the plug puller (7).
You can now mount a new light engine, see
section 9.16Installing the Light Engines, page 96.
