8 Video Cabling
8.1 CAT from HW 30
Coaxial cables with BNC connectors are used for transmitting the video signals of a camera mounted on a
separate arm as well as a camera (or camera mounting preparation assembly) installed in the operating
light.
Fig. 8-1: Configuration with wall box, see section 8.1.2Video Cabling to Wall Box, page 65
Internally, special mini-coaxial plugs/couplers (1) are used.
When fitting the central bearing shaft to the ceiling tube, be sure to connect the mini-coaxial plugs (1)
to the matching same-color couplers extending from the central bearing shaft.
Above the ceiling tube, run the 17-m video cable (2) (YPbPr, 3x mini-coax to 3x BNC) to the wall box.
Plug the 3 BNC couplers at the other end (3) of the video cable onto the BNC connectors of the wall
box.
Each cable consists of 3 color-marked BNC leads.
The following pages provide an overview of correct video signal cabling for other configurations.
