Check :
•
Front shoe pad 1 of cam chain
•
Rear shoe pad 2 of cam chain
(if damaged or worn, replace them)
3.4.6 Cylinder and piston
Cylinder
•
check that its components are perfectly smooth
•
measure the barrel diameter at three different heights
towards piston pin and lengthwise in two directions at
90°

Identification
• class A = blue point
•
class B = black point
•
check the taper
maximum taper (wear limit) = 0,05 mm
•
check the ovality
maximum ovality (wear limit) = 0,05 mm
NOTE : If the barrel is outside the wear limits, replace it
with the complete kit cylinder barrel+ piston (code
019001000052)
Piston
•
clean accurately the piston combustion chamber and
the ring grooves from the carbon deposits
•
check visually that there are no seizings, signs of
shrinkings, overheatings, crakings
•
measure the piston diameter at 7,5 mm. from the base of
the skirt in perpendicular direction to the gudgeon pin.
3.4.5 Guide de la chaîne
Contrôler :
•
patin avant de la chaîne de distribution 1
•
patin arrière de la chaîne de distribution 2
(en cas de dommage ou d’usure, procéder au
remplacement)
3.4.6 Cylindre et piston
Cylindre
•
contrôler que toutes les parties soient parfaitement
lisses
•
mésurer le diamètre de la canne à trois hauteurs
différentes,dans la direction de l’axe du piston, et en
deux directions à 90° en sens longitudinal.

• classe A = point bleu
•
classe B = point noir
•
Vérifier la conicité
conicité max. (limite d’usure) = 0,05 mm
•
Vérifier l’ovalisation
ovalisation max. (limite d’usure) = 0,05 mm
NOTE : Si la canne est hors des limites d’usure la
remplacer par le kit complet canne cylindre +
piston (code 019001000052)
Piston
•
nettoyer soigneusement le ciel du piston et les
cannelures des segments des entartrages carbonés
•
vérifier à vue qu’il n’y ait de rayures, de traces de
forçages ou de surchauffages, ni de crevasses
•
mésurer le diamétre du piston à 7,5 mm de la base de la
jupe en direction perpendiculaire à l’axe du piston.
