To shut
down the APU- .
1 . APU
vvn sequence is initiated . Verify that the green RUNNING
light goes off .
2,
APU MASTE
extinguish .
3 . BCN/STROBE Switch-Off .
4, BATTERY Witches -- Off .
,emu SHUTDOWN FEATURES
(Automatic)
During APU operation, the ESU monitors engine speed, temperature,
oil pressure and
electrical
surge
conditions
. TO ESU contains
circuitry
which will automatically
send a signal to the APU Relay Panel which
in turn will close the fuel
shutoff valve and shut down the
APU
under
the following conditions :
Overspeed
nderspeeed
Over temperature
Low oil pre
Loss of EGT signal to the APU ESU
'OP Switch - Press (momentarily) . An automatic shut-
itch - Press . The APU ON annunciator will
igh oil temperature
APU fire indication
bottle pressure
rator malfunction
