The
CD-2000
Cabin
Display
System
is
a
flat
panel
display,
passenger
address
and
entertainment
system
that
displays video,
moving
maps,
graphic
displays,
real
time
flight
information,
and
pre-recorded
brief-
ings
and
messages
.
The
system
includes
a
Cabin
Display
Computer
(CDC),
one
to
four
flat
panel
displays
(FPD),
an
Infrared
Remote
Con-
troller
(IRC)
(optional),
Infrared
Remote
Detector(s)
(IRD)
(optional),
Cockpit Control Unit
(CCU)
(optional),
and
associated
aircraft
wiring
.
The
infrared
remote
control
can
work
in
conjunction
with
armrest
mounted
controls
located
in
the
cabin
.
Information
for
aircraft
perfor-
mance
parameters
and
moving
map
display
are
provided
by
FMS-2-
The
CCU
(if
installed)
allows
the
crew
to
initiate
stored
messages
and
briefings
as
well
as
update
estimated
time
of
arrival
.

upon
system
configuration
.
Since
the
CD-2000
system
can
be
pro-
grammed
and
configured
for
many
different
options
only
a

The
CD-2000
system
receives
28
VDC
through
the
7
.5-amp
VIDEO
cir-
cuit
breaker
on
the
pilot's circuit
breaker
panel
and
the
3
.0-amp
PASS
INFO
circuit
breaker
on
the
copilot's
circuit
breaker
panel
.
An
aneroid
switch
will
disconnect
power
to the
system
if
cabin
altitudes
exceed
9500
250)
feet
.
Power
will
be
restored
if
normal
cabin
altitude
is
re-
gained
.

options
and
combinations
are
available
so
only
a
brief
descrip-
tion
of
the
modes
are
listed
here
.

sources
