Safe input signals via safety bus
Homing signals
Before the e
xecuon of safety funcons that require an absolute reference point, a safety
evaluated reference point must be available in the system.
The input signals IRS and IRL are available for generang a safe reference point.
IRS (SHom_Start)
Start safe homing via the safety bus with the "SHom_Start" bit:
•
Start with bit change 0↗1.
•
The bit must be set for at least one safety bus cycle.
IRL (SHom_Load)
Set safe reference point via the safety bus with the "SHom_Load" bit:
•
Set reference point with bit change 0↗1.
•
The bit must be set for at least one safety bus cycle.
•
The safe reference run is terminated.

Acknowledgement signals
Err
or acknowledgement (AIE)
Errors require acknowledgement with the AIE signal.
Error acknowledgement via the safety bus with the "AIE" bit:
•
Acknowledgement with bit change 0↗1.
•
The bit must be set for at least one safety bus cycle.
Restart acknowledgement (AIS)
Aer a stop funcon has been executed, the restart requires an acknowledgement with the
AIS signal if "acknowledged restart" is set:
Restart acknowledgement via the safety bus with the "AIS" bit:
•
Acknowledgement with bit change 0↗1.
•
The bit must be set for at least one safety bus cycle.
