Mini-homing
The minireference travel is a minimum movement to plausibilize absolute posion v
alues. It is
performed and safely monitored with the Safely-limited speed (SLS) funcon. Aer a
successful minireference run, the axis switches to normal operaon.
The minireference run can replace the complete reference run in certain operang states:
Aer mains s
witching
Aer acknowledgement of an SSI encoder error
-
The short-me interrupon of the opcal signal triggers the parameterized safety
funcon, which stops the aected axis.
-
Regardless of the triggered error reacon and the associated overtravel, however, the
absolute posion data connues to be determined on both channels.
Aer returning from the repair mode select (RMS). 4Repair mode selector (RMS) ^ 143
Precondions
The minir
eference run is only possible if a complete reference run was performed before
the rst call.
The safely limited speed for the reference run must be parameterized. 0x2882:003
"Load stored reference" is set as a restart condion. 0x2884:004 = 1
The minimum distance for the minireference run is calculated automacally:
Minimum distance ≥ 4 x tolerance window for the posion comparison 0x287C:001
Funconal descripon
Operang states in which the minireference run starts automacally:
-
Aer mains switching
-
Aer acknowledgement of an SSI encoder error
-
Aer returning from the repair mode select (RMS)
Sequence of the plausibility check during the minireference run:
1.
Are the saved posion and the current posion within the parameterized tolerance
window for the starng posion? 0x2882:005
2.
Are the posion value currently received from the inverter and the internal posion
value within the parameterized tolerance window for the posion comparison?
0x287C:001
3.
If the plausibility check is successful, the status bit "SHom present" is set. 0x2882:006
4.
The drive changes to normal operaon.
If complete homing is to be performed via the home posion s
witch despite the
"SHom present" status bit being set, the status bit must be reset with the "Clear
home posion" command. 0x2110:014
Only the status bit is reset via this path. The superimposed applicaon must
start the reference run. 4Safe homing (SHom) ^ 138

vent of an error
A faulty minireference run triggers STO.
A complete reference run is required.
