Supply voltage c
onnecon
An external 24 V supply voltage to X5:24E/GE is necessary for supplying the control
electronics.
If the control electronics are supplied independently of the AC system of the supplier, the
inverter can also be congured when the AC grid is turned o. Communicaon via exisng
networks also remains available.
DANGER!
Loss of the safe isolaon
Sa
fe isolaon of the control card from the mains potenal is deacvated when the motor and
motor holding brake are connected via a system cable AND X5 and X107 are supplied by a
common power supply unit. This also applies when using a SELV/PELV power supply unit.
Possible consequences: Electric shock in the event of a fault.
Supply X107 and X5 by separate SELV/PELV power supply units if the motor and motor
holding brake are connected via a system cable.
Connecon of mot
or temperature monitoring
Terminal X109 can be used with inverters < 22 kW either for temperature
monit
oring with PTC/TKO or for One Cable Technology (OCT).
4Connecon of one cable technology (OCT) via HIPERFACE DSL® ^ 69
If the terminal X109 is used, e. g. to connect an external PTC thermistor (PTC) or
a thermal c
ontact, ensure at least one basic insulaon to the potenals of
motor, mains and control terminals to not restrict the safe separaon of the
control terminals.
