Networks
When planning networks, consider the r
ecommendaons listed in the chapter
"EMC-compliant installaon" for low-interference operaon, especially of
Ethernet-based networks.

onboard EtherCAT
The standard onboard EtherCAT c
onnecon provides EtherCAT as the standard bus system of
the inverter. Due to the synchronizaon mechanism, the "distributed clocks" and the short
cycle mes, it oers excellent real-me properes. This enables highly accurate
synchronizaon of the connected devices.
Typical use:
•
Connecng the inverter as Distributed Clocks (DC)-capable EtherCAT slave for process and
safety data (FSoE) under a standard EtherCAT moon control
•
Connecng the inverter to the EtherCAT system bus.
