Posion-dependent sa
fe speed (PDSS)
This funcon monitors the speed of a drive as a funcon of the absolute posion along a
moon range.
This enables the use of a physically limited moon range without the use of mechanical
buers and limit switches.
The funcon can be parameterized as permanently acve.
DANGER!
Uncontrolled r
otaon of the motor possible if no safety rated encoder system is used.
Possible consequence: Death or severe injuries
Use a safety rated encoder system to use this funcon.
The distance of the posion limit (0x28DE:002) t
o the forbidden zone must be
selected so large, taking into account all parameterized tolerances, that the
drive cannot collide with the forbidden zone under any circumstances.
