This funcon corresponds to a "Stop 0" according to EN 60204.
The motor cannot generate torque and movements of the drive.
DANGER!
With the "Safe torque o" (S
TO) funcon, no "emergency switching o" in terms with
EN 60204‑1 can be executed without addional measures. There is no electrical isolaon
between the motor and inverter and no service switch or maintenance switch!
Possible consequence: Death or severe injuries

drive only restarts aer a conrmaon.

Funconal descripon
How to safely disconnect the drive:
1.A safety sensor requests the safety funcon.
2.The transmission of the pulse width modulaon is safely switched o by the safety unit.
The power drivers do not generate a rotang eld anymore.
3.The inverter switches to the STO acve device status (status word 0x6041, Bit15 = 0).
The motor is safely switched to torqueless operaon (STO).
