• RAID10 Mirroring & striping volumes
In relation to the volume conguring techniques RAID1 and RAID0, the Disks are
congured 2 at a time by RAID1, followed by the congured set being associated
by RAID0 and hence the volume as a whole is congured. With more than 4 Disks
present, conguration occurs in pairs. 4 Disks are used to congure the LG Network
Storage.
If Disk damage does not happen simultaneously to 2 Disks congured through
RAID1, the volume will continue to function. The volume save capacity is equal to
the product of the minimum Disk capacity and half of the number of Disks in the
volume.
Data backup and the safeguarding of saving capacity occur simultaneously. (RAID5
prioritizes capacity security, where RAID10 prioritizes data backup).
