This section describes volume conguration and supported RAID level.
When conguring volume using RAID, the use of Disks of the same manufacturer and
capacity is recommended to maximize stability and eciency of conguration. In the
case that the Disks dier in capacity and trademark, data may be lost due to low system
stability and eciency.
In the case that the volume of the damaged Disk must be amended, relevant data must
rst be backed up.
• Single Disk (None) volumes
The volume can be congured to each Disk without conguring the RAID. This is
similar to methods with general PCs that use Disks. If the Disk is damaged, the
damaged Disk data may be lost.
