OPERATION
GENERAL
The MAC155 requires no operator attention after the initial startup has been
completed.
If the MAC155 is left in place without power, moisture from the process
that is normally monitored will diffuse into the MAC155 and condense. This
can cause problems when power is later applied to the MAC155.
If the MAC155 is not in operation when the monitored equipment is in
operation, remove the MAC155 from the mounting tube and seal the mounting
tube with the sealing cap provided.
WATER TANK PREPARATION
Before the MAC155 Probe can be placed in operation, the water tank must
be filled with distilled water. Do Not use deionized water. The tank holds
approximately 17 fluid ounces (500mL), which is enough to last for over a year of
normal operation. The water tank has a removable plug. This plug is removed to
fill and drain the tank. The tank should be drained and refilled at least once per
year
