If dust or particles are blown off the filter element using compressed air, a dust
cloud will form. Eye protection should be worn and care should be taken not to
breathe in the dust.
If solvents other than water are used, they should not be blown from the filter
with compressed air, but should instead be allowed to evaporate in a well
ventilated area far removed from sources of ignition. If compressed air were
used, a highly explosive cloud of mist and vapor would be generated. This could
also cause a hazard if inhaled or if it were to get into the eyes.
