MAINTENANCE
Before performing any maintenance procedure, study the manual until
the procedure is understood. If there is any confusion or doubt,
contact the factory for further assistance.
Only trained personnel familiar with this type of equipment and the
hazards involved should attempt maintenance. There is a danger of
severe burns from hot surfaces and electrical shock or electrocution
from dangerous electrical voltages.
There are several components within the MAC155 Probe that may require
maintenance or even replacement from time to time.
FILTER / EXTENSION TUBE
INSTALLING THE FILTER
1. Remove the filter cover
2. Remove the compression spring
3. Slide the filter retainer bushing off
4. Slide the old filter off
5. Clean the filter element or replace it with a new or previously cleaned filter
element.
6. Slide the replacement filter over the end of the barrel
7. Cover the inside diameter of the filter retaining bushing with anti-seize
compound being careful to not get any of the compound on the filter
element.
8. Slide the retaining bushing up against the filter element.
9. Slide the compression spring over the barrel.
10. Screw the filter cover onto the barrel, tightening by hand.
