FRONT FORKS
• (Remove windshield).
• (Remove upper handlebar cover).
• (Remove handlebars).
• (Remove mudguard).
• (Remove front brake calliper).
• (Remove front wheel).
• (Remove sub-fairing).
Before proceeding with the forks disassem-
bly operation, prop up the centre of the frame
to prevent the scooter falling.
• Sever all the electrical cable ties; to proceed with the
operation position the brake calliper and the brake line
to BEHIND the scooter frame.
• Undo and remove ring nut (A).
• Undo and remove underlying ring nut (B).
• Remove the forks assembly in a downward direction.
Support the forks to prevent them falling.
• Pay attention because balls (C) may fall from their rac-
es.
• Clean away any grease, including the grease in the
ball races. Check for wear and renew if necessary.
• Grease and refit.
Upper race: 22 balls (Ø 3/16")
Lower race: 21 balls (Ø 1/4")
