CD label
The CD label appears when the CD drive
is selected/active.

REC label
The REC label appears when the CDR420
is in record mode.

Timer label
Displayed when a preset time for recording
has been set.

Total label
Displayed when the alphanumeric display
shows the total time for the selected track
(fi le).

Select label
Displayed when the CDR420 expects you
to make a choice.

information. The Alphanumeric display
bars show progress of the operation. Wait
for the operation to be completed. Press-
ing and releasing Stop
will cancel some

The HD label appears when the Hard
Drive is selected/active.

Alphanumeric display
Displays a variety of information
including remaining recording time,
menu settings, etc. Displays of more
than 14 characters may scroll.

6 POWER switch
Slide the POWER switch to the
right to turn power on or off.
When power is ON the display is lit and the
STANDBY light is off.
7 STANDBY light
Lit when in STANDBY MODE.
When power is
switched off STAND-
BY MODE is briefl y
displayed.
STANDBY MODE retains the state of the record
timer.
