REMOVE THE BASKET DRIVE

Drive block
Remove the transmission (see page 4-52).
Removal of the basket drive assembly
without removal of the spin basket may
require spreading the drive block. Place
a wide flat blade screwdriver into the slot
of the drive block and tap with a mallet to
release the drive block from the spin tube.

Rotate the cam counterclockwise to
compress the spring and release the brake
from the brake drum allowing the brake
and basket drive to be pulled out of the tub
support.

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
