Remove the wire connector to the lid switch
by lifting the tab and disconnecting the wire
connector.
Push the connector down into the washer
cavity with a flat blade screwdriver if needed
to unlock the side tabs. Push the ground
wire down into the washer.
Reach into the washer under the top, but
over the top of the basket to hold the lid
switch.

Push the locking tab to release the lid
switch from the washer top.
Rotate the switch down to release the
switch hinge pin.
