18.2 Card Slot Restriction
Table 18-2 lists the card slot restrictions for installing DIMs. Restrictions vary
according to the card’s application.
When a DIM I/O card is configured to run channelized data, it MUST reside in
slot 8. When this is the case, restrictions apply to other I/O cards (including
additional DIM cards if any) in the CX950 chassis. The permitted or preferred slot
locations of these I/O cards are listed in Table 18-3.
