13.4.1 Accessing CO
2
Menus
 By selecting the CO
2
parameter window, you can access the [CO2 Setup] menu.
 By selecting the CO
2
waveform, you can access the [CO2 Waveform] menu.
13.4.2 Changing the Operating Mode
For sidestream or microstream CO
2
modules, the default operating mode is standby when the
monitor is switched on. You can start the CO
2
module by selecting the hardkey, or the
CO
2
parameter window→[Operating Mode]→[Measure]. When the monitor restarts, the
CO
2
module automatically continues with the previously chosen operating mode.
During standby, the CO
2
gas sample intake pump, infrared light, etc. are automatically
switched off to extend the lifetime of the CO
2
module.
13.4.3 Setting the Pressure Unit
In the [CO2 Setup] menu, select [Press. Unit] and toggle between [mmHg], [%] and [kPa].
