5-28 Image Optimization
Display Format
Description To set the display format of PW mode image with B mode image.
Operation Adjust through the [Display Format] item in the soft menu or menu.
There are 4 formats to display the images: V1:1, L/R, V1:2, Full.
Impacts The function is available in real-time imaging, freeze or cine review status.
Duplex/ Triplex
Description This function is used to set if B image (B+Color image) and PW image are
displayed synchronously.
Operation Turn on or off the function through the [Duplex] / [Triplex] in the soft menu
or menu.
Impacts The function is available in real-time imaging, freeze or cine review status.
HPRF
Description HPRF mode is used when detected velocities exceed the processing
capabilities of the currently selected PW Doppler scale or when the
selected anatomical site is too deep for the selected PW Doppler scale.
Operation Turn on or off the function through the [HPRF] item in the soft menu or
menu.
Effects HPRF enhances the range of detecting high-velocity flow.
Baseline
Description Refers to the area where the velocity is zero in the spectrum.
Operation Adjust through the [Baseline] item in the soft menu or menu.
Effects Adjust baseline according to the actual situation to change the range of
flow velocity to optimize the image.
Positive value means to enhance the signals above the baseline, and
negative value means to enhance the signals below the baseline.
Impacts The function is available in real-time imaging, freeze or cine review status.
Angle
Description This function is used to adjust the angle between Doppler vector and flow
to make the velocity more accurate.
The real-time adjusting angle value is displayed on the right part of the
spectrum map.
Operation Adjust through the [Angle] item in the soft menu or menu.
The adjustable angle range is -80~80° in increments of 1°.
Impacts The function is available in real-time imaging, freeze or cine review status.
