You can install top modules on top of MiR600 for specific applications.
For more information about top modules from MiR, see MiR Top Modules on the MiR
website.
For more information about top modules from third parties, see MiRGo on the MiR website.
Top modules from MiR are delivered with instructions on how to mount and operate them
with MiR600.
For instructions on how to mount third party top modules and accessories, contact your
distributor.
13.1 Mounting a top module
MiR600 has four M10 holes for mounting top modules as shown in Figure 13.1. The
tightening torque is 47 Nm.
MiR600 also has four M12 holes used for fixation of transportation eye bolts.
M12 lifting holes can also be used to mount top modules. If a top module is
mounted using these holes, it is necessary to drill M12 lifting holes in the top
application in order to lift the robot—see Maintenance on page206.
Alternatively, the top module must be easily removed to access the M12 holes.
