7.1 Charging the robot
This section describes how to charge MiR600 using a MiR cable charger.
A MiR cable charger is not part of the MiR600 standard delivery. Contact your
distributor for more information.
To charge MiR600 with a standard MiR cable charger, you will also need an
adapter for the cable to fit to the battery connector.The adapter is supplied by
MiR.
The robot is delivered 40-60% charged.
The left side compartment holds the robot's battery. To access the side compartments, see
Accessing the internal parts on page39.
To charge MiR600 using the cable charger, follow these steps:
1. Plug the cable charger into an ACpower supply. Always make sure to connect the cable
charger to a power supply before connecting it to the robot. Overtime, the battery will
take damage if you connect the charger to the battery before the power supply.
2. Connect a battery adapter to the other end of the cable charger.
