2.3 Internal parts
Most internal parts of MiR600 are accessed through maintenance hatches that open to
different compartments:
• Front compartment
• Rear compartment
• Side compartments
• Top compartments
To access the compartments correctly, see Accessing the internal parts on page39.
CAUTION
Opening or removing hatches from the robot exposes parts connected to the
power supply, risking damage to the robot from a short circuit and personnel
getting burnt.
• Before removing any covers, turn off the robot, and disconnect the
battery—see Disconnecting the battery on page71.
Front compartment
The front compartment holds several electronic components, such as the robot computer
and the safety PLC.
