F
Footprint
A footprint set in the robot interface defines the size of the robot and its top module
or load. It consists of a horizontal shape around the robot that should be slightly
bigger than the robot itself to ensure that there is enough space along the calculated
path, and a maximum height that ensures the robot does not try to drive under low
obstacles. The horizontal shape is defined as coordinates relative to the robot's
center.
G
Global path
The global path is the route the robot calculates that leads it to its goal position.
I
Identification label
The identification label is the label that is mounted to the product in production. The
label is used to identify the components in your MiR application. It identifies the
product model, the hardware version, and the product serial number.
L
Light indicators
Signal light and/or audial warnings. The signal lights are by default blinking yellow
when the protective fields are muted. Audial warnings can be added in System
settings.
Local path
The local path is the route the robot creates within its immediate vicinity that guides
it around obstacles while still following the global path.
Localization
The method used by the robot to determine its position on the map relative to where
it is in the work environment.
