Using The Machine
7. USING THE MACHINE
7.1. START PROCEDURES
To start the platform, proceed as follows:

Park the carriage.

Apply the handbrake.

Make sure the gear shift lever is in neutral (all vehicle gears disengaged).

Engage the power take-off through the pushbutton located in the cab.
Press the clutch pedal all the way down and engage the power take-off through the relevant pushbutton in
the cab.
NB: a red light (PTO light) indicates that the PTO is engaged. If applicable, the engine will automatically ac-
celerate when you take your foot off the clutch.

Start the stabilization procedure (see the dedicated paragraphs).
7.2. STABILIZATION
7.2.1. CART OUTRIGGING
IMPORTANT!
The cart must be perfectly stable to work in complete safety.
DO NOT OPERATE THE MACHINE IN CASE OF DOUBTS ON THE QUALITY OF THE STABILIZATION AND,
IF NECESSARY, CONTACT THE MULTITEL ASSISTANCE CENTRE.
ATTENTION!
Make sure that the ground is solid, and check for any underground tunnels that could collapse.
