Use and warning instructions in compliance with EC regulations - Page 50
ATTENTION!
Even if the initial stabilization turns out to be perfect, the manoeuvres of the extendible structure or
changes in climatic conditions may alter the trim. In the event you feel the ground sagging for any
reason, quickly close the platform and repeat the stabilization procedure once again.
IMPORTANT!
It is possible that in some work positions one of the outrigger feet may lift up due to the twisting
caused by the strain on the counter-frame. This is normal consequence of using the machine, so the
controls are not limited. The extension limiting device is independent from this event, in compliance
with the applicable standard.
It is now possible to start the lifting manoeuvres.
7.3. UTILIZATION PROCEDURES
7.3.1. ELEVATING THE OPERATOR BASKET
To start the boom, carry out the following procedure:
STEP ACTION
1
In order to proceed with the platform manoeuvres, the green consent light must be on, as a guarantee for proper stabilization
2
Prior to proceeding with the manoeuvres, makes sure that:
♦ the loaded weight and the number of people inside the basket fall within the allowed limits (see the
manufacturer's data plate).
♦ The people inside the basket are properly wearing their safety belts and that these belts are coupled to the
specific anchoring points.
3
Follow the instructions to move the platform from the various available control stations (section “CONTROLS” ,
always starting with the following manoeuvres:
♦ Boom retraction, as in the transport position the telescopic jacks tend to make the extensions rest on the
mechanical stops.
♦ Select the JIB boom raising movement until it the boom exits the special support.
♦ Select the main boom raising movement until it the trapezium is lifted high enough.
♦ Operate the remaining joysticks to carry out the manoeuvres needed to reach the work position.
ATTENTION!
Absolutely refrain from carrying out rotation or exit manoeuvres when the boom or the
trapezium are resting on the support or completely lowered.
4
When exiting the vehicle footprint, make sure there are no other vehicles or equipment within the range of ac-
tion of the machine.
7.3.2. PUTTING THE MACHINE IN ITS RESTING POSITION
To put the machine in its resting position , proceed as follows:
STEP ACTION
1
Rotate the boom, when it is closed to the support, until it is perfectly centred, so that the reference markings
match up. If installed, use the optional function "automatic centring of the fifth wheel".
