ATTENTION!
During operation of the outriggers, visually inspect that no one may be injured by their movement.
If all of the outriggers are not visible from the control station, fence off the area to prevent any type
of access.
ATTENTION!
To stabilize the platform on sloping or irregular ground, resort to the use of shims (for example,
wooden shims), to be placed underneath the outriggers. Stabilising on steep slopes increases the
risk of having the vehicle slip. Secure using wedges or tie the vehicle with ropes prior to lifting the
rear axle.
To carry out the cart outrigging, proceed as follows:
STEP ACTION
1
Make sure that the start procedure has been successfully carried out.
2
The controls pertaining to the support outriggers are located on the right side of the cart (vehicles with right-
hand drive have the controls in opposite position with respect to the cart axis, and can be replicated on both
sides). First operate on the extension of the crosspieces so as to determine the configuration of the exten-
sions.
3
Then operate on the outriggers: by pushing the lever pertaining to the desired outrigger, the respective outrig-
ger is raised. By pulling the lever, the respective outrigger is lowered.
N.B.: when the vehicle is raised off the ground and the four outriggers are resting on the ground, the green
indicator switches on, meaning that it is possible to use the boom. This indicator is located on the base
control panel.
3
Make sure that the positioning has been carried out properly by means of the procedure ‘CARRIAGE LEVEL-
LING CHECK'’ and by means of procedure ‘STABILIZATION CHECK’’.
4
After this procedure, make sure that the consent light is on.

compromise the stability of the machine, thus creating a source of risk, even fatal, for the operators.
ATTENTION!
Never tamper with the adjustments of the spirit level. Only skilled technicians authorized by the
Manufacture can work on the spirit bubble adjustments.
7.2.2.1. SPIRIT LEVEL
