Machine Description
4. MACHINE DESCRIPTION
4.1. AIM OF THE MACHINE
The platform for working at height is a piece of equipment designed and built so that the operator can safely perform work
at height.
IMPORTANT!
The official maximum capacity includes people and tools.
4.2. OPERATOR STATION
The operator can control the machine from inside the basket or from the ground if the work area is fully visible.
The presence of an operator on the ground is absolutely necessary in order to provide assistance and carry out any
emergency manoeuvres.
4.3. DANGEROUS AREA
The dangerous area corresponds to the work area of the machine.
4.4. MAIN COMPONENTS
The aerial platform mainly consists of:

COUNTER-FRAME Anchoring interface to the longitudinal beams of the frame of the load-bearing vehicle.

ROTATION SYSTEM
It consists of a slewing pin (ball bearing that makes it possible to point the extensible
structure by rotating around its own axis, which is vertically positions) and includes a
drive through hydraulic motor.

TURRET O
BASE BLOCK
Structure that supports the boom and connects it to the slewing pin. The hydraulic
system operation and control valves are housed on the back of this structure. By
removing the rear casing, you can access the valves (station for emergency manoeuvre).

HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
It is used to control the direction of the main booms. Double acting. Complete with
hydro-pilot rupture valve.
