6.3.1. OPTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GROUND CONTROLS
Ground controls can be of different types. Different optional solutions are available, such as:
Standard supply: controls connected to the turret (or to the counter-frame); the operator operates the controls while
standing up and keeping eye contact with the basket and extendible structure.
Open seat: the operator controls the platform from the seat connected to the turret; this position provides an excellent
view of the platform manoeuvre area.
Cab closed: the operator controls the platform from inside the cab (equipped with large transparent surfaces); this
position provides an excellent view of the platform manoeuvre area and can be provided with various optional components
to guarantee comfort.
Adjustable closed cab: the operator controls the platform from inside the cab (equipped with large transparent
surfaces); this position provides an excellent view of the platform manoeuvre area and can be provided with various
optional components to guarantee comfort. The cab can be inclined by means of a specific hydraulic piston.
“Removable” commands: the operator controls the platform from the ground. The control box can be taken by the
operator and follow him within the range of action allowed by the cable length. This way, the operator can move to the
normal control area in order to have a better view of the machine and of the platform manoeuvre area. The control box
is always connected to the machine with a specific cable protected with a strong sheath to preserve its functionality.
IMPORTANT!
Some solutions can be available according to the model function.
