8.3.2.4.8.1. CLEANING THE BOOM
The boom must be cleaned, removing the old grease, on a monthly basis or more frequently if you are working in a particularly
dirty environment.
Every six months, lift the boom completely, take off the top cover, and extend and retract the telescopic boom a few times to
make any accumulated dirt and residue drop off.
It is especially important to perform this operation if you are pruning branches.
8.3.2.4.9. CLEANING THE INSULATION AREA (INSULATION OPTIONAL)
Dust, dirt build-up, excessive atmospheric humidity can also significantly reduce insulation.
Keep the insulation area clean by cleaning it with water, avoiding the use of acids, solvents, pressurised water spray or
overheated water, and letting it dry before each use.
8.3.2.4.10. CLEANING THE PLATES
All the plates affixed to the platform are the type resistant to detergents, and are not subject to deterioration or separation
due to atmospheric agents.
However, since the plates are made of plastic material, or are in any event printed using synthetic materials, it is absolutely
prohibited to use solvents, either pure or diluted, to wash the machine, especially in places where the plates are
affixed.
In case one or more plates become illegible, come off or show signs of wear, you need to contact our Assistance department,
indicating the serial number or frame number of the machine, in order to receive replacement plates.
8.3.3. ANNUAL CHECKS
The annual check must be carried out by a skilled technician (in other words a technician specifically trained to carry out
maintenance on the platform). The procedures cannot be described in this manual due to their complexity and to the risk
associated with their imperfect execution. At the same time of the annual inspection the technician carries out the monthly
checking.
